上海国际港务（集团）股份有限公司尚东集装箱码头分公司成立于2016年12月6日，负责上海洋山深水港四期自动化码头的经营管理。洋山四期于2017年12月10日开港试生产，是目前全球最大的单体全自动化码头，也是全球综合自动化程度最高的码头之一。
洋山四期位于东海大桥以南，地处整个洋山深水港的最西侧，依托颗珠山岛及大、小乌龟岛围海填筑形成，总用地面积223万平方米，码头前沿平均泊位水深为15.5米。洋山四期共建设7个集装箱泊位、集装箱码头岸线总长2350米,设计年通过能力为630万标准箱。
码头装卸作业采用“远程操控双小车桥吊＋自动导引车＋全自动轨道吊”的生产工艺，主要由码头装卸、水平运输、堆场装卸的自动化装卸设备及自动化码头生产管控系统构成。操控人员在控制室通过远程操作台控制和监管位于作业现场的桥吊和轨道吊，极大改善操控人员的劳动环境，降低劳动强度。
码头采用上港集团自主研发的智能化码头生产管控系统作为大脑，全过程管控装卸设备的自动化运作。系统衔接上海港的各大数据信息平台，通过数据协同、外部对接，实现生产过程智能优化控制。
洋山四期是一个绿色零排放的码头。三大装卸设备均采用电力驱动，装卸过程完全消除了尾气排放问题，环境噪音也得到极大改善。同时，港口船舶岸基供电、节能新光源、办公建筑区域电能监控系统、太阳能辅助供热等技术的应用，进一步推进节能减排及新能源利用。
Shangdong, a branch of SIPG, founded on Dec.6th, 2016, operates and manages Yangshan Phase IV automated terminal. Opened for trial operation on Dec. 10th, 2017, Shanghai Yangshan Phase IV automated terminal is currently the largest of its kind around the world, as well as one of the most advanced in comprehensive automated technology.
Shanghai Yangshan Phase IV automated terminal is located on the west side of the Yangshan deep water port, and sits on the reclaimed land of neighboring islands. It covers a total area of 2.23 million m2, with 7 deep water berths lies on the 2350m-long wharf. The average depth of water fluctuates around -15.5m. In accordance with the integrated planning, the designed annual throughput of Shanghai Yangshan Phase IV automated terminal is 6.3 million TEU.
The operation of Shanghai Yangshan Phase IV automated terminal is conducted by 3 main types of automated handling equipment as well as Intelligent Terminal Operation System (ITOS). The terminal operators remotely control and supervise the quay cranes and ASCs afar on site, and working in a more comfortable environment under a lower labor intensity compared to conventional terminals.
The SIPG proprietary Intelligent Terminal Operation System (ITOS) is the brain of Shanghai Yangshan Phase IV automated terminal, and is the control center of all the automated equipment. Connected to all major information platforms of Shanghai Port, ITOS continuously optimizes the operation and dispatching mode of Shanghai Yangshan Phase IV terminal.
All three types of handling equipment are electric driven, propelling the terminal to eliminate emission and diminish environmental noise. Meanwhile, Yangshan Phase IV automated terminal takes the responsibility of energy conservation and new energy utilization by implementing shore power kits, new light source, electric energy monitor system, solar heating, etc.
